Obituary for Peggy Ann Gabel

Peggy Ann Gabel, born March 19th, 1942 in Hazelton, Pa died November 10, 2017 at 75 years of age in the loving care of the Arcadia Unit of Manor Care Nursing Home in King of Prussia, Pa.
A viewing and memorial service are planned for Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at Our Lady of Fatima, 2913 Street Road, Bensalem, Pa 19020 beginning at 10am.
Peggy loved life and loved to have a good time starting in her teen years as she earned the nickname, “Peanuts” while she danced her heart away on American Bandstand in Philadelphia in the late Fifties. She loved a good laugh, had a wonderful sense of humor, and certainly enjoyed her excursions to Parks Casino on Street Road.
Peggy at her deepest self-loved her family, God, the Blessed Mother, and her deep devotion to praying the Rosary. Peggy would walk up Street Road to the Adoration Chapel at Our Lady of Fatima which was quite a distance from her home always dressed to impress and in her high heels.
Peggy is survived by her brother Bill Bowe, Jr. of Tucson Arizona, 2 daughters, Lisa Pritchard Perry of Huntington Valley, Pa and Kim Turnbaugh of West Chester, Pa. Additionally, 5 grandchildren Sgt. AJ Pritchard, Pvt. Sean Pritchard, Samantha Vazquez, Mike Turnbaugh, Jr. and great granddaughter, Eira Vazquez and their spouses.
Donations in her honor may be sent to Our Lady of Fatima.
Arrangements are with Hoffman Funeral Home, Bensalem, Pa.
