Obituary for Edward F. Kane, Sr.

Edward F. Kane, Sr., went home to his heavenly father on Saturday, October 28, 2017. He died peacefully surrounded by his family in his Son’s home. He was in his 90th year.

Edward was born in Phila, and graduated from N Catholic High School. He was a United States Navy Veteran.

Edward was an zealous Eagles fan, and an avid reader, especially about history. Times spent with his dogs were very special for Edward. He was a hard working, devoted family man who always took great care of his family. He will be sadly missed by all of his family and many friends.

Edward was the beloved husband of the late Millie, devoted father of Barbara, Ed (Deb), and Bill (Joanne), and loving grandfather of 6, great grandfather of 7, and great great grandfather of 1. He was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters.

Relatives and friends will be received by the family 11:30am Friday at St Charles Borromeo Church, 1721 Hulmeville Rd, Bensalem. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:30am. Rite of Committal will be in Resurrection Ceme. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8517.
